It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs Jan Evans. Jan was a hugely influential figure with the guides in Tenby and West Wales.
Born in Stepney, London (a proper cockney) she then moved to Pembrokeshire. After training as a nurse in later life she helped set up Park House Court nursing home as their first matron. Ironically this is where she spent her last days.
She was 85 and will be greatly missed.
Funeral arrangements are Wednesday 26th February 11.30am at Parc Gwyn Crematorium and afterwards a wake at Saundersfoot Sports Club.
